Navigating the Venue and Work Hours

  • How do I get around the venue?

The venue is quite large but walkable—once you get the hang of it. There is signage everywhere to guide you along the walking paths throughout the resort. The resort's in-app map + Google Maps are helpful for a bird's eye view.

Alternately you can request a cart pick you up from your room at any time and they'll take you to the nearest path/lobby to where you're looking to go.

  • Am I allowed to leave the venue?

For the safety of all of our Fronteers, we're requiring everyone to remain onsite during Camp Front. It's an all-inclusive resort. There's plenty to do in addition to our resort being rather remote.

  • Can I go in the ocean?

Yes, you're welcome to go in the ocean if the lifeguards are permitting it.

There are also a few different pools to choose from.

  • During work time hours, do I have to work from my room?

You can, but there are plenty of enjoyable spots around the venue. Wifi is available throughout the resort and can support Zoom calls.

  • What does All Inclusive mean?

Our resort is all inclusive. That means that once you are onsite, everything* is paid for. This includes, but is not limited to:

    — Meals
    — Beverages

    — Wait staff at meals
    — Many sports and water rentals
    — Sport field/court reservations

  • What should I pack?

In general you'll be comfortable in resort wear. You may wish to bring a bathing suit (or two) and sandals as well.

Note: we're aiming for the Awards Dinner to be ~nicer~ (think nice-casual resortwear - Tommy Bahama shirt, vacation dress, flat shoes)

We'll provide a handy suggested packing list before Camp Front!

  • Do I need and outlet adapter?

The resort has standard A & B plugs typical to NORPAC. There will be outlet adapters for work laptop chargers available to EMEA and LATAM Fronteers @ registration Tuesday for business use. We recommend packing your own for personal items in your hotel room.
